Circular or rectangular tanks used in agriculture for storing livestock waste or digestate must be covered by law. Conical or beam covers can be made depending on the requirements of the plants and the size of the tanks. The cover system includes concrete or steel supports, reinforcement straps for the membrane in case of snow, and a cover made of a specific material that is resistant to atmospheric agents and the fumes emitted by the tank contents.

Sewage basins up to 35 metres in diameter are covered in a cheap and effective way through a conical membrane structure. The design also takes snow load into account.
