Info: Positioned sculpture of the Palio del Golfo fountain, La Spezia
Sculpture designed by Architect Enrico Pontello, winner of the competition to create the sculpture placed in the center of the fountain in Largo Fiorillo, in front of the Cruise Terminal, La Spezia.
Maco Technology engineered the system and built the components that allowed the 13 hulls to be put in place, made through a special “Air Moulding” technology capable of obtaining the shape of the boats used in the palio starting from thin stainless steel sheets.
