Lightweight textile cover: an alternative to a gazebo
Bars, restaurants and commercial establishments in general are looking for alternative coverings to traditional gazebos that allow them to expand their available space in a lightweight, low-impact and aesthetically pleasing way. The example of the 10Hp bar is one of many cases where the owners needed a small outdoor area without spoiling the aesthetics and visual impact on the street. The result is an extremely light and minimalist PVC-coated polyester fabric covering that solves the client’s problem in the simplest way possible. It is attached to the wall using a precisely fixed ogive profile. The textile membrane is inserted into this profile and tensioned at the corners using a double threaded bar system. The pillar is held in place by a strut that connects it to the main façade and ensures its stability, as it does not have permanent foundations capable of withstanding the pre-tension of the membrane.
