Info: Three sails of 15 m2 each
Three small sails shade and protect the entrances of several shops in a commercial building from the rain. This gives the façade a three-dimensionality that wasn’t there before. In all three roofs, one side of the sails is connected to the building’s façade via an aluminum keder profile. The other three sides of the sails are free. The tension in the fabric is created by the inclination of two painted steel pillars. These pillars are hinged to the ground and tensioned with stainless steel cables.
