Info: Shading of approximately 1100 square metres of pedestrian areas by means of rhomboid sails made of PVC-coated polyester mesh.
By means of a network of stainless steel cables, the supporting structure for a series of rhomboidal canopies of various colours was created in order to shade and upgrade the streets of a shopping centre. The intervention covered 6 areas for a total of about 1100 square metres. The system, as simple as it is sophisticated, is kept in tension by means of stainless steel springs custom-designed following the structural analysis. The final effect is a pleasing play of colours, light and shadow in harmony with the context.
